Higher Ground Martial Arts was developed as a means for our Black Belts to reach a more sound and complete approach of studying Tae Kwon Do, in a more traditional fashion. We always strive to become the best at everything that we do whether in Martial arts or in daily life.
Ultimately Martial Arts is a way of life, not just a class a few hours per week.
With the quest to become or reach "Higher Ground," our founders were proudly accepted as a charter school of AIMAA and Cho's Tae Kwon Do. Our instructors continue to study the way of Grandmaster Cho, his principles, and those of the AIMAA Federation. At Higher Ground, we believe that you can continue to grow, indefinitely, always in search of Higher Ground, mentally, physically and spiritually.
Our Black Belts have trained together for most of their martial arts longevity. We continue to seek further guidance from one another as we have not only become a school of martial artists, but a family of martial artists, supporting each other in life en devours, moral support, and with friendship.
Just as we have supported each other, we will support all those wishing to train in our martial arts family, pledging to help you become the very best person that you can, and will, continue to become.

A.I.M.A.A.and Cho's Tae Kwon Do
Higher Ground Martial Arts is a charter member of the Action International Martial Arts Association(A.I.M.A.A.),and is compliant with the rules of etiquitte, principles, and requirements of Cho's Tae Kwon Do. A.I.M.A.A. is a renown international organization of great Martial Arts Academies. A.I.M.A.A. was founded by Grandmaster Hee Il Cho in 1980 and is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii.
