A World renown TaeKwonDo Master
A 7th-Degree Black belt with 39 years of experience in the martial arts, Master Philip Ameris is Grandmaster Hee Il Cho's senior student and technical director of the Action International Martial Arts Association. He has won numerous national and international championships and was the Captain of the USA Taekwondo team for the 1998 World Championships.
Master Ameris is the chief instructor at Cho's Tae kwon-do in New Kensington, PA. He has traveled throughout the world teaching seminars and clinics on traditional Taekwondo, as well as developing R.A.P.E.Defense - a proven and effective course on women's self defense. Master Ameris has been featured in numerous martial arts publications throughout the world, and has dedicated his lfe to studying the way os the taekwondo and teaching traditional martial arts methods and values. He is married for twenty six years, as his wife and two children study Taekwondo and hold the rank of Black Belt.
Master Ameris will be the first person to test for 8th degree Black Belt in AIMAA at the 2010 A.I.M.A.A. Summer Camp.
